Description
Photo taken at about 7:04 AM EST in Prenter WV. Shown are Mercury, Jupiter and Mars all within one degree of each other. Three planets have not been this close together since 1925, and won't be again until 2053, or so says Jack Horkheimer, host of the TV show "Star Gazer".
Mercury is to the top left with Jupiter beneath, and Mars to the right. This marks the first time I have photographed Mercury. Yay me.
In Roman mythology, Jupiter is the father to both Mercury and Mars, though both have different mothers.
